Formatting Thousands and Millions in Excel

Ever develop an evaluation in dollars and wish that you had used thousands or millions, instead?

There is an easy way to display thousands or millions without having to divide.  Use the 'Custom' cell format and enter ‘0,’ for thousands, or ‘0,,’ for millions [without the quotes].

If you want some decimals also, use a format as suggested by these examples:
